    Nearly a year in development, IST’s new Orion 1000+s Premium Color Correcting, Multi-Mode Dive Torch offers something most other torches can’t: a breathtaking view of vivid, full spectrum color at up to 100m (330’) depth.

    Our special, warm color temperature LED with a rating of 3500K offers light equivalent to the type of “soft white” bulb you might use in lamps in your home.
    The 700 Lumens of brightness offered by this torch matches a typical dive torch LED, but there’s nothing typical about this torch’s Color Rendering Index of 80: this is the same CRI as full sun daylight. It’s like bringing the light of the sun to depth on your dive!
    Three power level modes allow for fine-tuning of power usage and brightness on the fly: select 25%, 50% or 100% power with the press of a button. Two additional modes, SOS and Flash, turn the torch into an underwater safety and communication device.
    8° spotlight with 80° flood beam allows for switching between bright, clear viewing of close-up subjects and illumination of a wider path as needed.
    Powered by one 18650 Li-Ion battery with Protection Circuit Board (PCB) or 2 CR123 batteries, the torch offers a burn time of 100 minutes at 100% power setting. Battery indicator light ring around the torch pushbutton control glows green on a full battery charge, yellow at 60-30% power, red at 30-15% power, and flashing red from 15-1% power.
