Description
The OrcaTorch D580 is a professional underwater dive light with max 530 lumens output. Mechanical head rotary switch offers high reliability underwater. The light is compatible with two types of batteries: One 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which is economic and eco-friendly, and 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, which are low cost and easy to find. It has a 6-degrees super narrow beam, quite suitable for recreational diving as a primary light, and for technical diving as a backup light. The D580 is depth rated to 490' (150m). The lights lumen output and burn time depends on the type of batteries used. With the included 3 x AAA alkaline batteries the D580 produces 480 lumens with a burn time of 2-hours and 50-minutes. When powered by the single 18650 lithium-ion battery it provides 530 lumens with a burn time of 3-hours and 30-minutes. The light has an effective beam reach on land of 587' (179m) using the 3 x AAA alkaline cells. The lights intensity is 8000cd with a working voltage of 3-4.8V.
Manufactured from aircraft-grade high strength aluminum alloy with the latest diamond grade hard-anodized seawater corrosion-resistance finish and two-sided coated toughened glass with high water pressure resistance. Light is impact resistant when dropped from 3.3' (1m). The light is equipped with intelligent over-heat protection, reverse polarity protection, to protect from improper battery installation and over-discharge protection function. The D580 light measures (L x Dia. x Head Dia.) 5 x 1 x 1.4" (128.5 x 27 x 35.5mm) and weighs 4.34 oz (123g) without batteries. Included with the light are 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, battery shield, brand rubber band, spare O-rings, lanyard and owner's manual.
