Item Description
The Master Flow 6 in. x 25 ft. Insulated Flexible Duct R6 Silver Jacket is used in standard Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and some venting applications. The duct has R6 insulation which contains 33% more insulation than the standard R4.2 product. This additional insulation provides greater thermal efficiency to save energy. The product is also covered in a heavy duty, silver jacket for durability. The duct is ETL listed, meeting the UL181 standard.

Bath fan exhaust line

I used the insulated flexible duct for exhaust line for bath fan in our attic. I think it worked out great. How they ever got 25 feet in that box I have no idea but it came out of the box in good shape and was easy to work with. If I ever need to replace other bath fan exhaust line I will use this product

The only flexible duct you need to hook up to an exhaust fan into the attic and through a roof cap. The insulation around the plastic flex line is to prevent the pipe from "sweating" and dripping onto your insulation or attic floor to prevent mold and mildew. This is a MUST if you're using this to exhaust a shower as moist and warm air enter the flex duct. NEVER use just a regular flex line to vent outside. ( as you do with a clothes dryer uninsulated flex line. ) ALWAYS use this insulated flex line to prevent condensation on the flex line from forming water droplets dripping onto above structure causing mold, mildew and rotting wood.

This is just what I needed to replace the damaged section of my duct. Thank goodness Home Depot online sold the 9 inch duct which could not be found anywhere else. It was delivered to my house really quick and in great condition. The product is very simple to install.
