These drives most likely came from a recycling business who gets their products for free, or were rejected by the server Raid controller.
We do not sell hard drives that have reallocated sectors as they are at the end of their life.
If you purchase one of these
reallocated sectors hard drives t
hat are currently being sold by other sellers on eBay, they will crash in a matter of weeks or months.
Enterprise drives are rated at 2.5 PB of writes over a five-year period, 550 TB per year.
These drives have less than 3 TB of writes total. And no reallocated sectors.
And are basically new, they were used for storage only and received very little use when in operation.
