    Description

This celluloid button pinback with ribbon was made in 1923 for
a member of the Paxton Fire Company No. 6 in Harrisburg, Dauphin
County, PA, for attendance at a convention in Reading, apparently,
as noted on one of the ribbons.  The other ribbon carries the organization
date in 1859 for the fire company.
The whole assembly measures 9.5" long, quite big for a firemen's ribbon
with buttons.  Not your common pinback.
Condition is "Used". Soiling evident in many spots of this item, the ends of
the ribbons are frayed and curly, the button and the member plaque are dirty,
the metal ornament underneath the button has a couple small bent parts,
the brocade has a couple strands that are a little loose at the ends.  Overall
    appearance is quite striking.
    Shipped with USPS First Class.
